Jeffrey Charles ATKINSON

Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on February 13, 2022, at the Region of Waterloo Hospice with his family by his side at the age of 60. Cherished son of Charles Atkinson. Jeffrey is predeceased by his dear mother Marjorie Atkinson (1981). Beloved brother of Janice and her husband Russell Leslie. Loving uncle of Nathan and his wife Lauren Leslie and Justin and his wife Ashley Leslie. He is also missed by many extended family and friends in Ontario. Jeffrey is a retired member of the Royal Highland Fusliers of Canada. He was a Corporal in the Militia for over 36 years. Jeffrey's family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Guests must RSVP through the funeral home website or by calling the funeral home directly to attend Jeffrey's visitation. Masks are mandatory. Interment to take place at a later date.As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Hospice Waterloo Region - Cook Family Residence would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
