John FROST Obituary

John Allan Carson Frost, 85, of Cambridge, Ontario, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2023, succumbing quickly and unexpectedly to cancer.
John was born on November 19, 1937, in Toronto, Ontario. He met the love of his life in Kitchener, Ontario while dining in a local restaurant. During the time Carole and John were dating, John served in the United States Air Force for four years. Once returning home, the two were married in July 1960.
John began his career in the electrical industry while he and Carole started a family. Ever driven to succeed and provide for the family in the early years, John held several part time jobs in addition to full time employment.
At the height of his career, John held the position of General Manager for a large electronics distribution company, eventually moving Carole and their youngest to the United States where he sat as President for the eastern division of a large company located in Boston, Massachusetts.
John and Carole returned to Canada in 1989 and purchased an insulated glass manufacturing company in Woodstock, Ontario, moving the company to Cambridge a couple years later. John worked with the window manufacturers in the Tri-City area until his retirement and sale of the business in 2010.
Over their 63 years of marriage, John and Carole set down roots in many places, including Belleville, Ottawa, Bramalea, Shelburne, Boston, Woodstock, and Cambridge. John made an impact on many lives over the years and while his is gone, he will never be forgotten.
John will be loved and missed by his wife, Carole, his children, Sherry, Brad (and Dianne), Steve (and Kymme) and Christine, his five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A private memorial will take place in the coming week for the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lisaard House in Cambridge, where John received the most compassionate palliative care over the past two weeks. We are very thankful for their dedicated team of staff and volunteers.

Condolences to the Frost family. I first met John at Savannah Golf Links in 2012as course marshals . We became friends and he shared many lifetime stories with me. Sharing passions for hockey and John's refereeing along with spending time in the "Man Cave" was always a delight. John's car interests along with travels will leave me missing his company. Until we meet again John, Happy Trails.

I knew John through Steve who is like a brother to me. I was saddened to learn of John´s passing.
I met John on a golf outing in Arkansas. He soon discovered my interest in RVing and Motorhomes. John had a vast amount of knowledge on this subject and through the years he was always willing to share. If I had one question, John would respond with several paragraphs of information and in great detail. I always appreciated his detailed communication.
Rest easy and thank you sir

My sincere condolences to Carole and family. As a neighbor I knew John from occasions when he would stop for a chat when passing our home while out for one of his walks. My thoughts are with his family at this time of grief.
