John Habkirk Obituary
Passed away with family by his side on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Chartwell Westmount at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Winnifred (1996) and Sharon (2020). Dear father of John Habkirk (Angela) , Elizabeth Pilarksi (Jeff) and William Habkirk (Jessica). Dear Papa and Grandpa to Katie, Dylan, Brandon, Jenna, Luke, Jessie, Kayley, and Jack. Predeceased by his sister Patricia (1997).
Jack was known as "Popular Postie" and served the community for over 30 years. Jack's family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 - 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467. A memorial service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 10:30 am on Saturday, December 11th followed by a reception. Please RSVP to the funeral home website to attend the visitation and service. Masks are mandatory. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
