John KUEPFER Obituary

KUEPFER, John Freddrick Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at his residence Nithview Home, New Hamburg. John was born 88 years ago in Hutchinson, Kansas, a son of the late Jonathan and Leona (Follas) Kuepfer. John will be reunited with his wife Kelsey (Kropf) Kuepfer, who predeceased him in 2011. Loving father of Joan and her husband Gary Roth, Frances Jantzi, and Barb and her husband Don Roth. Forever cherished by his grandchildren Janine and Kypp Saunders, Melody Roth-Ng'eno and Peter Ng'eno, Holly and Matthew Trachsel, Ian and Tamara Roth, Shantaye and Shawn Stumpf, Avery and Ceilidh Nau Jantzi, Adrian and Brittany Nau Jantzi, Danberly Nau Jantzi, Rebecca Roth, and Krystal Roth (Mitchell), and great-grandfather of Austin, Isaiah, Malindi, Kelsey, Maxwell, Cole, Kai, Kipling, Josh, Nikki, Austin, Simone, Zachary, Michael, Lily, and Abigail. John is survived by his brothers Levi, Melvin, and Henry and wife Mary, his sisters Sarah Kuepfer, Velma and husband Danny Gascho, Dorothy and husband Andy Gascho, and Susannah (Susie) and husband David Huber, and his sisters-in-law Lillian Kuepfer, Catherine Kuepfer, Teri Kropf, Berenice Herrfort, Ron and wife Brenda Kropf, Irene and Robert Jutzi, and Wilson and Joyce Cook. John is predeceased by his siblings Mary and Stanley Helmuth, Aaron and Ruth Kuepfer, Barbara and Archie McNab, Leslie Nau, Joseph and Betty Kuepfer, Raymond Kuepfer, Martha and Bernhardt Schultz, and William (Bill) Kuepfer, as well as by his in-laws Laurene Kuepfer, Arthur Kropf, Shirley and Pat Hergott, Bruce Kropf, and Allan Herrfort. John was a member of the Countryside Mennonite Fellowship in Hawkesville. Friends and relatives are invited to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton on Friday, May 24, 2019 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Countryside Mennonite Fellowship, Hawkesville at 2:00 p.m. with Bishop Ron Shantz to officiate. Interment to take place in Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Jungle Breezes Youth Ministries in Guatemala would be appreciated (cheques accepted).
