Joseph Levai Obituary

Joseph Michael Levai passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at the age of 83. Joe had a great sense of humour and loved to joke around with people, especially PSWs. He loved the outdoors and expressed that love through farming, gardening, and hunting. He was also a great cook. Joe was a longtime member of St. Clements Church and the Knights of Columbus, and was a former Grand Knight. He also spent many years working at Uniroyal. Joe will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 62 years Annette Levai, and his devoted daughter Janet Levai - who was often his voice/interpreter over the last few months. Also survived by his brother Steve Levai (Mary), his sister Theresa Pongracz (John), nieces and nephews Brian, Barb (Paul), Lisa, and Steve, and many more extended family members and friends. Joe was predeceased by his parents Mary German Levai and Joseph Levai. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 27th at St. Clement's Church (745 Duke St, Cambridge) at 10am. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Clement's Church would be appreciated.
