Joseph Patrick Murphy, Sr. 1934 - 2019 Peacefully passed away in his 84th year, at Hilltop Manor on Tuesday, February 19, 2019. Survived by his wife and life long partner Rita (nee Kent). He will be sadly missed by his loving children Donna (Paul), and Joe Jr. Proud Poppa to Courtney (Dan), Hilary, (Kyle), Andrew, Chelsey, Julia and great-grandkids Blake and Scarlett. Dear brother to Tom (Lorna), Bill (Jean), Jim - deceased (Lynnie), Kevin - deceased (Marilyn), Mary (Pierce - deceased), Marg (Gord - deceased), Sheila (Gus), Ron - deceased (Diane), Anne - deceased (Don) and John - deceased (Betty). Visitation will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 6-9 p.m. (Rosary is at 8:30 p.m.) at Corbett Funeral Home , 95 Dundas Street North, Cambridge. A Funeral Service will take place the following day on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11 a.m. at St. Ambrose Church at 210 South St., Cambridge. Interment to follow at New Hope Cemetery, Cambridge.
