Judith NELSON Obituary

Passed away peacefully on April 3, 2021 at the age of 78. Judy was born in Kingston, Ontario to Howard and Frances Lindsey. After graduating high school, she attended Ottawa Teacher's College. In her 35 year career, she taught in places such as Kingston, North York, Brampton and retired from the Waterloo Region School Board. Judy and Rod were married on July 1st, 1967, Canada's 100th birthday. Survived by her husband Rod; daughter Jenn, children Lindsey and Brayden; daughter Sara, son Cooper; sister Ruth Robertson (Paul) of Gananoque; and sister-in-law Margaret Lindsey (the late Reverend Bev) of Prescott. Judy was predeceased by her parents Howard and Frances and her brother Bev. Judy adored her family and loved being "Nana" to her grandchildren who were the world to her. She spent time sewing, knitting and in the kitchen making wonderful family meals for all of them. Judy was a friend to everyone she met. She was a kind and caring person, always ready to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
