Kay (Catherine) Elaine HARRISON

1931 - 2022

Born March 14, 1931

Passed away peacefully on November 10, 2022 at the age of 91. Predeceased by her husband James (Jim) Harrison in 2000, parents Murray and Francis, siblings Margaret, Francis and James. Mother to Tom (Gail), Bob (Sharon Malleck), Peter (Louise) and Elaine Martin (Chris). Grandmother to Vanessa, Lauren, Stacey, Jamie, Cassandra, Alysha, Eric and Sarah. Great-grandmother to Peyton and Mason, sister-in-law to Ken and Joyce Harrison. Kay moved to Waterloo with her family in 1965 and worked for the University of Waterloo from 1969 on a part-time basis, then full-time until her retirement in 1996. Kay always enjoyed singing and listening to music, and until her later years, she enjoyed an active life with bowling, Tai Chi and watching her Wimbledon and Masters tournaments every year. Kay liked being surrounded by her family with her children, spouses, grandchildren and many of their friends around the pool on a nice hot afternoon. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Erb & Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Monday, November 14th from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room. Masks are preferred. Cremation has taken place.
