Kenneth Clarke Obituary
Passed away at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the age of 91 years.
Survived by his sons Bruce (Karen Clark) and Jeff (Annikka Snow), grandson Oliver Snow (Saja Edwards) and niece Gwen Schermaul (Joe).
Predeceased by his beloved wife Marna, his brothers Stanley and Gordon and sister Arlie Schmitt.
Ken was born in 1930 in Proton Township to Fred and Eva Clarke. Ken married Marna Mills in 1956. They raised their family in the Lexington neighbourhood in Waterloo, Ontario. Ken worked at Sutherland and Schultz in Kitchener for thirty years and enjoyed a refined retirement for thirty years after that. Ken passed peacefully in his sleep after a short illness.
Special thanks to all the people who have helped and cared for Ken, including the wonderful folks at New Horizons Tower, the Toronto General Hospital cardiac centre, and the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute.
Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of Ken's life will be held at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S. Waterloo at 11 am on Friday, May 27, 2022.
In lieu of flowers, please make donation in Ken's memory to a charity of your choice.
