Larry MARTIN Obituary

Passed away peacefully, after a long battle with catastrophic brain damage on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at the age of 68. He leaves to mourn his wife, Karen, and his beloved sons, Kevin (Amber) and Michael (Stacey). Loving Grampa of Riley, Josh and Connor. Dear brother of Connie Wollschleger (Jurgen). Larry was Deputy Chief of St. Jacobs Fire Department and partner at Kraemer Woodcraft. Larry loved playing baseball, darts and golf. He loved spending time at his cottage on Doe Lake but mostly he loved his family.
Preferring no fuss, at his request, there will be no funeral. A Celebration of Life to be announced at a future date. As expressions of sympathy donations to Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements entrusted to Considerate Cremation & Burial Services, 26 Nihan Drive, St. Catharines (between Lake Street & Scott Street), 289-362-1144.

I had the privilege of working and living with Larry before I was married. He was a great guy and we had many laughs, both at work and at home. We set up our apartment and for a long time used newspapers for a dustpan until we discovered that we could purchase an actual dustpan for 25 cents. Silly memories.

So sorry to hear that Larry has died. I remember him sitting behind me at St.Jacobs Public School. (all ius Martins were in one row) A long time ago, but Larry was always a kind, sweet boy.
PS. I always thought I would marry him. : )
