Larry NEWBIGGING Obituary

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 8, 2022 at Freeport Hospital in Kitchener, Ontario at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Sherry (nee Tait) and proud father of daughter Anita. Sadly missed by his siblings Wayne (Linda) Newbigging, Nancy (Ken) Landon, Joan (Richard) Brown, Richard (Jan) Newbigging, Allen (Colleen) Newbigging and Lori Taylor. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Larry is predeceased by his parents Murray and Helen. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 6th from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 126, 334 Westminster Dr. N, Cambridge.

I remember long rides, up at 4 a.m. to Art Brewer's barn by 5, fed the horses we would have our coffee and shoot the breeze until horses fed. Groom saddle then off for the day. Art Brewer, Karen Reeves, Jane Loughlean, Larry, Neil Simpson, Jim Hallman, Keith Brown, Dennis Reeves, and more. Sometimes we would return in the afternoon, sometimes not until dark. Some of the greatest memories ever. I am blessed to have had those memories.
