Len Huebner went home to his heavenly father on Sunday April 2, 2023, in his 88th year. Born during the depression, he worked hard on the family farm until he had an opportunity to move into cabinet making and eventually became a high school woodworking teacher for 29 years. He retired from teaching at Preston High School in 1993. Len started his life of faith at the age of 15 at a revival meeting and was baptized later that year. He was a member of Waterloo Mennonite Brethren Church along with his wife Mary. Their faith was evident in the missionaries that they support and the list of people they pray for weekly. Loved and celebrated by his wife Mary and children Steve (Linda), Cathie (Jim) and the late Greg (Linda), grandchildren Ellis (Jessi), Cameron (Kathi), Isaiah (Julianne), Alexa, Chloe and Evan, great - grandchildren Emma and Thiago. Also loved by his extended family including siblings Irmgard and Gord, Hiebert, Hilda Hamm, Abe and Irene Huebner, Leone Huebner, Eleanor Dyck and Kay Lucas. Predeceased by his parents, brother Peter, sisters Helen, Margaret and Hattie, and his son Greg. A Special Thank You to Dr. Kotecky, Dr. Trussler, and nursing staff on 8B, at Grand River Hospital, for their continuous support.
