Lisa YIP Obituary
Lisa's family will receive relatives and friends from 4 - 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue from 12 to 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, 2023, with a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the University of Waterloo WELL-FIT Cancer Exercise Program would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).

So sorry to hear of Lisa´s passing. We will always remember her involvement as the "official photographer" at Lexington Public school and Waterloo Minor Hockey. She was always ready with a smile and a kind word. We know you will hold special memories in your hearts forever.

I am so sorry to hear of Lisa's passing. I taught Andrew for five years in enrichment classes, and Lisa was the world's best parent volunteer! She was a constant source of support and positivity for me and for Andrew's classmates throughout the years. An amazing photographer, Lisa shone in her enthusiasm for documenting special moments. She is the sweetest soul and brightened up our days. I have so many fond memories, especially our trips to McMaster and Laurel Creek. Lisa always jumped in to help others and to promote learning. I feel such sorrow for Andrew and the family. Sending you all much love in these challenging times. Andrew, my heart is with you as you work through the loss of your wonderful mother. Our condolences! Our family has fond memories of Lisa's infectious positivity and always bringing treats to Fighting Flamingos hockey tournaments. True to Lisa's thoughtfulness and caring nature, she would always bring extra treats for the siblings of the players. There was nothing better than a smile and a cupcake from Lisa!
