MASSEL, Lorne Passed away peacefully with family by his side at St. Peter's Hospital, Hamilton, on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of the late Lu (nee Henning, September 2018). Loving father of Kristine Gordon (Ron), and Richard Massel. Much loved grandpa to all his grandchildren. Dear brother-in-law of Vic Henning (Diane), Carla Henning, Phil Henning (Brenda), Joy Henning (Joe Moon) and Paul Henning (Flechane). He will be missed by many nieces and nephews and especially by his dog Shelley. Lorne was a Member of the Institute of Mining and traveled extensively around the world. Private cremation has taken place. Lorne's family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the HENRY WALSER FUNERAL HOME , 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 followed by a memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Private interment at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
