SOEHNER, Lorraine Ida (Bauer) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother, great-grand- mother and great-great-grandmother. Living life and loving life for 96 years, Mom passed away peacefully on Monday, August 28th surrounded by the love of her family at Winston Park Village. Mom will be forever remembered by her children Carol Lavigne (Bob), Murray (Brenda), Kevin (Sue), Glen (Jackie) and Rob (Colleen). She cherished her 16 grandchildren and felt blessed by her 13 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her son Billy (August 28, 1996) and her husband Bill (2005), also by nine sisters and brothers. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Nancy Soehner, brother Clinton Bauer, sister-in-law Laura Bauer along with many nieces and nephews. She was a devoted mother who gave selflessly of herself to family and friends. Her smile and laughter instantly warmed the hearts of those she met. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was a member of Historic St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Kitchener. Special thanks to her ""guy and gal pal"" caregivers at Winston Park for their love and compassion. Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Cemetery.
