Maria BANDA Obituary
Passed away at Freeport Hospital on Friday, April 30, 2021 at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of Jonel Banda. Dear mother of Simon (Doina), Nelu (Maria), and Doina Vojin (Josif). Loved grandmother of Dennis, Michael, Mary, Steven, Chris, Daniel, Violeta, and Sabrina. Also remembered by 15 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her sister Ana and her brother-in-law Konstantin. Maria's family will receive relatives and friends at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Monday, May 3, 2021, from 4 - 8 p.m. Please note: In order to attend the visitation, you must register in advance at: https://signup.com/go/zAMLPev A private funeral service, by invitation only, will be held by the family with interment to follow at Williamsburg Cemetery.
