Feddema, Marjorie:
It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Marjorie (Marge) Feddema on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at the age of 90.
Beloved wife of the late Peter (2015).
Loving mother of Rick (Paula), Edward (Teri Landry) and Trish.
Proud grandmother of Gary (Laura), Scott (Lacey), Julie (Mike), Alysha (Michael), Mark and Craig (Emma) and great-grandmother of Ryan, Austin, Parker, Jordan, Owen, Clara, Layla and Brooklyn.
Dear sister of Klaasje, Ali (Minze) and Everts (Grietje).
Predeceased by siblings Roelof, Rutger, Dinie and Jan.
Marge was born and raised in Holland and started dating her future husband at the age of 17. When Peter and his entire family immigrated to Canada in 1949 their relationship was tested. For two years they faithfully wrote letters back and forth, and in 1951 Marge at 20 years of age came to Canada leaving her entire family behind. Peter and Marge dated for two years and were married in 1953. They were married for 62 years when Peter passed in 2015.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful team of caregivers at Briarfield Gardens. Mom was proud to call Briarfield Gardens her home for the past eight years. The care and compassion that Mom received during that time will never be forgotten.
Marjorie's family will receive relatives and friends from 9:15 to 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467, with a service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment at Strathroy Municipal Cemetery.
