Mark and I shared the same first name in the Woodworking Department at Conestoga College. With two Mark's we often got people mixed up and then enjoyed a laugh at that. He was a good man and a pleasure to teach with. We laughed together, sang together, talk about everything and just enjoyed being with one another. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

Lynn, Bailey, and Shaw:
Very sorry to hear of your loss. I had the good fortune of working with a wonderful group of teachers in the Woodworking centre, and mark was one of the best. Always admired by students and colleagues. Went out of his way with extra efforts to improve student success, and promote woodworking programs. Mark worked hard in support of Skills Canada competitions, supporting our students in the competition, including those who won national and international medals. He will be greatly missed.

Saddened to hear of Mark's passing. Mark and I grew up on the same street and both attended West Park High School. We were also in woodworking class together, where Mark was clearly the star student and showed a level of skill and proficiency far beyond the rest of us. When we were in grade 13, Mark and I joined the high school musical, Mark playing the lead (Corndoggie) and I the secondary comic role. Mark shined in the show - such ease on stage and a glorious voice. I also remember how beautifully he played the guitar. Though Mark and I never ran with the same crowd, I fondly remember him as a gentle and talented soul. Over the years I have often thought of Mark and will continue to do so. My condolences to the family.
