Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly after a long battle with myleodyspastic syndrome, on Friday, July 1, 2022, at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, Ontario. Mark was born 59 years ago on February 13, 1963, in Kitchener, Ontario. Mark will be loved and missed by his beloved wife Laura Lee (Plomin) Snider with whom he cherished 37 years of marriage with. Devoted father of Korie and husband Ben Holmes and Scott Snider and wife Lauren. Proud grandfather of Owen, Nolan and Maxton Holmes and Scotty Jr. Snider. Mark was a cherished brother of Bob Snider and wife Renata, Dale Snider and wife Sam, Fred Snider and wife Kathy, identical twin Scott Snider and wife Stephanie and Cindy Haddock and husband Pete. Mark will be missed by his niece Kelsie Snider and her fiancé Andrew, whom they shared an incredible bond with and spoke to daily, as well as by his many cherished nieces and nephews, friends, employees, and co-workers. Mark is predeceased and reunited with his father and mother Laverne and Elaine (Santo) Snider, by his sister Robin Snider and by his mother-in-law Linda Plomin who passed away just 6 days prior. Mark was the owner operator of Twin Home Improvements as a window installer and worked closely with Strassburger Windows. Mark was a man of many words and made light of every situation. He was a devoted family man. His sense of humour was unlike any other. When admitted to the hospital on Wednesday, he told the hospital staff he was there because of his wife's cooking. (Which by the way was not the situation as he very much enjoyed the meals prepared by his wife and family members.) Mark will be missed by all who knew him and those who didn't. The family would like to thank the staff, doctors, and nurses of both the Grand River Cancer Centre and the ICU department for the compassionate and devoted care shown to Mark during his treatments and stays and to his family as well. Relatives and friends will be invited to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg, on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, from 4:30- 5:45 where a memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 6:00 p.m. A reception will follow in the waterwheel room of the funeral home.
