Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of family on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at the age of 58. Beloved wife of Kip Panayiotou for 34 years. Loving mother of Victoria Panayiotou (Jake Gonzalez Gomez) and Emily Panayiotou. Dear daughter of Delorise and the late Raymond Davis (2018). Dear sister of Mark Davis. Mel's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, November 28, 2021, from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A private family Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, November 29, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Please join the family via live-stream at www.henrywalser.com/livestreaming. The live stream will start with a video tribute at 10:15 a.m. followed by the service at 10:30 a.m. Please use the RSVP system to register for the visitation. Masks are mandatory. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program or Lisaard / Innisfree House - Hospice would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). One of Mel's holiday traditions was gathering socks for donation, please feel free to bring a pair of new socks to the visitation if you would like to donate.
