I want To send my prayers and comfort to your family. Mike was such an important part of my career and my culinary life/life . The Country Club was one of my 1st major culinary jobs, and he showed me a lot. Indeed mike showed me the ropes of the industry. I'm forever grateful that I had the opportunity to work with him. I know he loved his family. All he talked about was his son and his wife, As well as his love for culinary and his career as a referee. It was so cool seeing him on TV at the Olympics. You will always have a part in my life. Rest easy, mike .

I remember a stand up guy, a devoted family man, and a person in who you could put your faith and trust. He was always there to teach, to encourage, to give you a kind word or a pat on the back when you were not at your best. I will miss Mike, his warm smile, his sense of humor and the way he would take that moment to think before he spoke. Rest In Peace Friend and Mentor, you will be missed.
