I met Mike at BANKSIDE in early 2019. We had a long talk in the ACTIVITIES room while waiting for THE MEN'S CLUB which never came that day. I was impressed that he knew a lot about my family history (he new most of my uncles and was familiar with KITCHENER PACKERS). He also worked at UNIROYAL for 35 years. He survived two broken hip incidents and was still able to walk so I knew that he was very resilient. He was a really nice guy and for sure will be missed.

Jane and Family
I was so sad to see this posted today. He was such a special man. He often made me smile and Spencer always knew where to go fo a treat. He loved the dogs and they loved him! It made smile when I read about his whistling.... he always did....even here at the Laurentian!! My thoughts are with you.

Dear Jane, your dad lived a wonderful life and by all accounts (especially your lovely stories) was, quite simply, a radiantly beautiful person. You will surely miss your visits and cribbage games. So sorry for the loss of such a beloved and loving father.

Jane, Sam, Meagan, Jordon, and Tom, we understand the sorrow you are feeling right now. Mike was one of a kind, who brought sunshine and happiness into the lives of all he met. A wonderful human being who will be missed by many beyond his caring family. May he rest in peace......Jack and Carol
