Neil Clifford COOK

Neil Clifford Cook, age 88, lifelong resident of North Easthope Township, passed away suddenly at his residence on Thursday, November 10, 2022. Born in North Easthope Twp, son of the late Edward and Magdalena "Mattie" (Yost) Cook. Beloved husband of Merla (Frook) Cook, whom he married on June 8, 1963. Proud father to Marsha (Bruce) Koehler, Leroy (Marianne) Cook, Kevin Cook, and Tricia (Peter) Mettler. Grandfather of Meredith Koehler (Devon Juta), Daniel Koehler (Kathrine Stoeckli), Maxine Koehler (Tolu Awobusuyi), MegAnne Koehler (Nathan Whitehead), Celeste Cook (Twan Peters), Connor Cook, Abbigail Mettler, Brooke Mettler, Chloe Mettler, and great-granddaughter Mila Koehler Stoeckli. Neil will be fondly remembered by Calvin (Elsie) Frook, Bev (Dorothy) Frook, Nancy Frook, Victor Bell, Ken (Nancy) Frook, William Tramer, Marianne Jacklin, Marilyn (John) Mighton, Karen (Don) Wilson, and along with many Cook and Frook nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Neil was predeceased by his father and mother-in-law Carl and Mabel Frook and his siblings Helen, Oliver, Allan, Lloyd, and Kathleen and brothers and sisters-in-law. The family would like to sincerely thank the Perth East Volunteer Fire Department, Perth County Paramedics, and Sebringville OPP for all their kind words and compassion the evening of November 10th. Friends and relatives are invited to Neil's funeral service on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St., Stratford. Private family interment to take place at St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery (Gadshill). The family kindly ask that those attending the funeral service must wear a mask.
