Oswald WERNER

1934 - 2021

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 21, 2021 at Trinity Village at the age of 86. Werner was born August 25, 1934 in Kelpin, Poland. He and his family came to Canada in 1947. He later met and married his wife Louise (Karges) in Kitchener, where they raised 4 children. He worked as a Production Scheduler at J.M. Schneider Inc. until he retired in 1999. Werner is predeceased by his wife, Louise (2001), his grandson Nicholas (2005) and his parents Ferdinand and Dora. Beloved dad to Chris (Glenn), Sue (Robert), Steve and Tina. Much loved grandpa to Stephanie, Stacie, Andrew, Tyler, Mathew, Corey and Michael and great grandpa to Danika and Kailee. Werner is also survived by his siblings; Agnes, Dieter, Winfred, Doris and Adeline. Werner was a proud family man; his family always came first. He enjoyed golfing, and like his father, he took great pride in his lawn and gardens. Werner was also very proud to cheer on his grandchildren at their soccer, baseball, hockey and basketball games. Werner and Louise also enjoyed relaxing at their condo in Florida. Honouring Werner's wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, Kitchener, (519-743-8900). A Celebration of Werner's Life will be planned at a later date.
