Peter Jordan, formerly of Marathon, ON peacefully passed away at home after a courageous battle with Multi System Atrophy on Monday, July 11, 2022 in his 67th year. Beloved life partner of Joan for 32 years. Survived by his immediate family, Joanne Du Fresne (Al Dumas), Mark Jordan, Paul Jordan, Ira Burgess (Penny). Predeceased by his parents, Florence and Maurice Jordan. Fondly remembered by many other family and friends. Peter had a successful career at the University of Waterloo for 31 years. He had a lot of love for travel, gardening and cooking but his greatest passion was fishing. His smile, laughter and sense of humour will always be remembered by all. Relatives and friends are invited to the Graham Giddy Funeral Home 617 King Street N Waterloo (519-888-7700) for a memorial visitation on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 10 - 11:30 a.m. A memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. A reception to celebrate Peter's life will take place immediately following in the Wellington Room of the funeral home. Cremation has already taken place. Masks are mandatory for attending the events at the funeral home

Peter ALWAYS had a smile.... I have many fond memories of our chats ( primarily about fishing) and I believe it was Peter who connected me to some of his favorite spots in Ontario.
I will commemorate him the next time I'm out in the boat
