Peter McEWAN Obituary

Much to the sadness of his family, Peter passed away suddenly in sunny Mexico on Friday, April 2, 2021, at the age of 81, after a brief illness. It was thankfully not covid. Peter will be lovingly remembered by his wife Ingrid, his sister Elizbeth, his children Justine, Mark (Cathy) & Pauline, his grand-children Jonathan, Sherrie, Tiffany, Brodie, Natalie (Trevor), Cody and Mathew. He will also be sadly missed by his great grandchildren and many relatives and friends in Canada and Scotland. Peter will be deeply missed by his extended family, Howard (Mary), Roger (Crystal), Connie (Bill) & Duncan (Carol), grandchildren and great-grand children. Peter & his family emigrated from Scotland to Canada in 1972. After spending many winters in the cold north, Peter fell in love with winters in Mexico. He and his wife Ingrid have spent many winters down there, where he lived life to the fullest. Peter had a family of friends in Mexico as big as he had here in Canada. He was truly loved! His absence will especially be felt on the golf course, Celtic Football Club and under the palapas in Mexico. Due to COVID restrictions a celebration of his life will be held at a future date, to give him the farewell he deserves.

In loving memory of a wonderful friend and person. You will be greatly missed. So many great memories on the golf course, at the camp ground and watching Celtic games at The Knights. You always had time for advice whether it be work related or raising a young family, you were always there. All of our love. Bill, Susan, James and Chad Ball.
