Peter Spohn Obituary
Passed away after a prolonged battle with cancer on January 25, 2023 in Barrie, ON at the age of 68. Peter was the beloved brother to Mary Casey (nee Spohn) and her husband Michael. Lovingly remembered by his niece and nephews, Patrick, Andrea and David. He was predeceased by his parents, Dr. James and Katherine Spohn. He will be fondly remembered by his numerous cousins.
During his life, Peter was a journalist and lived life to the fullest. He delighted in the companionship of his many dogs over the years.
Respecting Peter's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life is to be scheduled at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to a local hospice or a Charity of Your Choice would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). Arrangements entrusted to Henry Walser Funeral Home (507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467).

I have many fond memories of my youth going up with Peter and Mary at Union and Park streets in Kitchener. Peter is now reunited with Jim and Kay in a fabulous place, farewell old friend.
