Philip WILGING Obituary

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at the age of 96 years. Beloved husband of Maria Wilging (nee Emrich). Dear father of Ann Gondosch (Michael) and Robert Wilging (Gail). Cherished grandfather of Robert (Rachel), Karin (Tom), Kayla, Tyler, Dan and Scott and great grandfather of Nicole, Erica, Natalie, Avery and Miles. Predeceased by his son Norbert (Sherry). Philip was known for his joking personality and enjoyed playing golf until the age of 90 years. Due to COVID-19 restrictions private family arrangements have been made. Interment will occur at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto, at a later date. In memory of Philip, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Alzheimer Society or a charity of one's choice would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S., Waterloo www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
