Proud uncle of Caroline Bordignon and Mark Bordignon. Loved and missed by his large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his sister Donna. Bruce lived a full life filled with love and simple faith. He was a long-time resident of the Christian Horizons Waterloo II group home in Kitchener. He will be greatly missed by his staff and his housemates. Respecting social distancing protocols, there will be no funeral. A memorial service may be held at a later date. I worked with Bruce in ADS off and on for 15 years. He would always make our new staff and volunteers feel comfortable with his friendly manner. He had a great sense of humour as well. Although he had some challenging times he was a lot of fun to be around.. He was a great volunteer at Wings of paradise, the humane society and adopt a park. He will be missed. I am now retired but I do have some fond memories of him.

Heartfelt condolences to Tom and Julie, Deb and Caroline and Mark. I am honored to have served alongside Bruce as a DSP with Christian Horizons at Waterloo 2 for 10 years, in both of the houses Bruce called home in the KW area. I will never forget the day Bruce came to the door when I arrived for my interview at his former home in Stanley Park (he wouldn't let me in!). Bruce was a people person and had more empathy than anyone I've ever met. He loved to laugh and joke, always was willing to help, or sit and have coffee and meetings. He enjoyed coffee, magazines, Mr. Bean, horseback riding, bike riding, attending camp, walks and spending time one on one with any person. Bruce was overfilled with love for his staff, housemates, volunteers and teachers, and above all, his family. A special thank you to all of the staff and volunteers at ADS, WCPP, Pride Stables, Friendship Club Waterloo, Camp Shalom, Camp Paisley, and others who became a part of Bruce's life and guided him in the activities and friendships he enjoyed. I am so privileged to have been a part of Bruce's earthly journey and he left an undeniable imprint on mine that I will hold with me until the day we meet again in Heaven. I take solace in knowing he's looking down on his loved ones, smiling, and doing paperwork in the Lord's house, a businessman for Eternity.

Prayers and condolences to Tom,Julie,Deb,Caroline and Mark. Bruce loved and cherished you all. I had the privilege and honor to work with Bruce for 32 years at Christian Horizons. Bruce had a lot of love to give and expressed this daily. Bruce frequently asked to have a sing song and play my guitar. Bruce sat and sang out those praise and worship songs so clearly. His favorite song was "Oh When the Saints Go Marching IN". Bruce's favorite bible verse was psalm 23. Bruce opened his bible and said, "The Lord is my Shepherd... I helped him to finish the verse. I will miss you.
