Robert Norcott Obituary

In great sadness, the family of Robert Norcott announce his peaceful passing on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. He was a champion for his family, a proud father, loving brother, favourite uncle, good friend and Poppy to baby Owen. At his best, he brought joy and light to every life he touched. His laughter, sense of humour and heart of gold will be missed and his absence felt deeply by those who love him. A private family service will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. Extended family and friends are invited to view Bob's service at www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming. Bob's family will receive relatives and friends from 6 - 8 p.m. on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. Those wishing to attend Robert's visitation must RSVP through the funeral home website or by calling 519-749-8467. Robert was a sweetheart of a man. Always smiling, friendly, sincere and so welcoming. I have nothing but fond memories of him and the whole Norcott family. Deepest sympathies to all of you. He is a great loss to all of you, I am sure. Big hugs to Billy and Julie. Your dad was a great guy.
May he rest in peace.

Bill and Julie - Jim and I were saddened to learn of Bob's passing. Our deepest condolences. He is fondly remembered as "that neighbour" - we will never forget our first meeting as he brought the running lawnmower from your house to ours on Park Street - and it was far from a straight line. That was the beginning of a great friendship with your parents, your grandma, and your aunts, uncles and other friends. We were always made to feel welcome - not many people have that ability.

Bob was one of a kind for sure, he welcomed me into the Norcott family with open arms when Brian and I married. Bob said it the way it was and we loved his sense of humour.

My condolences to to all his family members and God Bless.

May he Rest In Peace.
