Robert Stephen "Steve" SCOTT

It is with heavy hearts the family of Robert Stephen Scott (Steve) announces his passing at home after a brief battle with cancer on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Left behind to mourn him are his best friend, wife and soulmate, Liz and his adored children Andrew Scott (Kendra), Stephanie Scott (Kristy), and Meghan McKnight (Doug). He is most saddened to leave the sunshine of his life, grandchildren Mason and Connor and new baby due in June. He promised to cheer them on through their many future adventures. Steve is survived by his sisters Judy Good (Ron) and Elizabeth Dunn (Ron), father-in-law Stan Melrose, Liz's family and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Marion and Bob Scott and mother-in-law Betty Melrose. Steve and Liz were blessed to be surrounded by amazing neighbours who assisted us greatly during this journey. We have enjoyed the company of remarkable friends with whom many lasting memories were created. At Steve's request cremation has taken place. A family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home (519) 749-8467.
