It is with great sadness that the family of Ron Barth announce his passing on Thursday, June 30, at home, surrounded by family. Ron will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Dennise Ward-Barth, son David, daughter Devon and son-in-law Matt. Born in Kitchener on June 3, 1954, Ron was 68 years young. Over the years, Ron became a spirited golfer and rarely objected to finding unique things, places, and attractions to explore. Ron and Dennise had many adventures throughout their travels and checked Africa off their list in 2019. Ron could always be found reading books by authors like Louise Penny, solving Sudoku puzzles or catching up on Murdoch Mysteries. Friends will remember Ron as a kind and gentle soul. Known for his quick wit, in true "you can't play the holes behind you" spirit, Ron leaves behind a legacy of life with no regrets. Private cremation has taken place. Save the date for a celebration of Ron's life on September 18, 2022. Arrangements entrusted to Henry Walser Funeral Home 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kids Cancer Center with Scotland's Yard through the Grand River Hospital Foundation or Canadian Blood Services would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
