Ronald SAUER Obituary

SAUER, Ronald (Ron) Steinman Peacefully at Innisfree House in the early morning of Friday, September 6, 2019 after being surrounded with the love of family, friends, and the music of Mozart, Beethoven and the Beach Boys during the day. Born January 15, 1940 in Fort Erie, ON. Beloved husband of Margaret (Marg) (Collins) Sauer, fondly remembered by brother-in-law Jerome (Leonora) Collins and sister-in-law Mary Jo (Harold) Ralf. Also fondly remembered by the Furtney, Hyde and Benner cousins and their families. Dear uncle-in-law of many nieces and nephews, and their very special children who loved 'their uncle' dearly. Predeceased by parents Merritt and Hazel Sauer, and mother-in-law Jean Collins. At Ron's request, cremation has taken place and will be followed by a private interment. Ron's family will receive relatives and friends from 12:00 - 1:15 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Celebration of Ron's Life will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Mennonite Central Committee or Innisfree House would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
