Ruby Clarene JACOBS

JACOBS, Ruby Clarene (Bast) Passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Stratford General Hospital. Ruby was formerly of Newton and was born 90 years ago in Wellesley Township, Ontario. She was the daughter of the late George and Alfretta (Miller) Bast. Ruby is reunited with her husband James (Jim) Jacobs who predeceased her on March 24, 2017. Loving mother of Gary Jacobs (predeceased), George and Cathy Jacobs of St. Jacobs, Diane and Bill Cassel of Grand Bend. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Chad, Sandi (Robin), Jamie (Karen), Cory, Stephanie (Mike), Ted (Courtney), Billy (Dani) and her great-grandchildren Hailie, Roger, Colton, Jaz, Dai, Madison, Kayannah, Liam and Lucas. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Vern Bast, Laurene Bast, Edna and Harold Braun, Elaine Jacobs and Joyce Jacobs. Ruby was predeceased by her brother Clarence Bast, sisters and brothers-in-law Grace Bast, Isobel and Harry Reis, Gladys and Lorne Zimmerman, Bob Jacobs, Shirley and Howard Schade and Fred Jacobs. Ruby loved vacationing in her camper in Florida as well as at Family Paradise campground. Ruby had a greater love for her family. Family and friends will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 7 Spencer Street, Milverton, TODAY Monday June 17, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. and again on Tuesday June 18, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Elaine Clark-Siberry officiating. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Milverton. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Stratford Cancer Clinic (Cheques Accepted).
