Ruth BOUTCHER Obituary

Passed away peacefully with her husband by her side at Hospice Waterloo Region on Friday, August 26, 2022, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of Ray for over 55 years. Loving mother of Jason Boutcher (Carrie) and Cassandra Carr (Shawn). Proud "Granma" of Sarah (Dylan), Eric, Madison, Ben, and Breanne. Dear sister of Ginny and the late Nick, Marian, Lillian, Rose, and Johnny. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and their families. Special thanks to the staff at Grand River Hospital and Hospice Waterloo Region for their loving and compassionate care. Active to the end, Ruth and Ray enjoyed golfing and traveling with their many friends. Cooking, sewing and entertaining family and friends were among her other lifelong passions. Cremation arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home (519) 749-8467. A Celebration of Ruth's Life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice Waterloo Region would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
