Ruth METCALFE Obituary
METCALFE, Ruth Adare (Reitzel) June 18, 1921 - July 16, 2019 Passed away peacefully with her daughter Carolyn by her side. Ruth is predeceased by her first husband Clare Reitzel (1959) and by her second husband John Metcalfe (1997). Loving mother to Carolyn and Brian (Barbara), as well as step-son Michael (Beryl) and her late step-daughter Jean. Remembered by her grandchildren Nolle (Glenn), Tamara (Tim), Clare (Meagan), Adele (Matthew), Lisa (Adam) and Clare (Lani). Much loved by her great-grandchildren Mark, Adam, Angela, Katherine, Jennifer, Zoe, Quinn, Johnathan, Simon, Emily, Virginia and the late Zoë. The family would like to extend a thank you to the entire nursing staff at both Oxford Manor, Ingersoll and Caressant Care, Woodstock. A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, August 4, 2019 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1997 Dundas Street East, London (at Wavell). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made at www.forestlawnmemorial.ca
