Ryan Miklos Obituary

In the midst of a thunderstorm, early in the morning on May 31, 1975, in Oshawa, Ontario, Ryan entered the world. With broken hearts, we have to say goodbye to him. He left us too soon in the early morning hours of February 21, 2021 at St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchener, Ontario. Ryan was a great athlete and participated in AAA hockey throughout his younger years. He was a Golf Professional, and had a passion for the sport. Although he was small in stature he had a huge heart and a wicked sense of humour that could bring a smile to everyone's face. Ryan is survived by his partner, and best friend, April King; his grieving parents Bob and Jeannie Miklos; his loving sister Chaundra (Shawn Ingram); and his grandmother, Marg Miklos of Brantford. He is also survived by his loving children, nieces and nephew, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. We will miss your loving smile that brought joy to so many. You will never be forgotten. Enjoy playing the Golf Course in the Sky as 18 flags fly at half mast. Though small his skill, yet strong his frame well-knit. His heart was large, and genial was his wit. Ryan's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Private Funeral in the Henry Walser Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Private cremation to follow. For those unable to attend, the service may be viewed via livestream at www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming In lieu of flowers, donations to The Gatehouse or to Donna's Kids would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). Jeannie and Bob, so sorry to hear about Ryan. Many find memories of our Saturday and Sunday games at Galt Country Club.

Knew Ryan for a very short while, he had a great sense of humour. His daughters Haley and Ellasandra are proud of him and loved him just as he was proud of them and loved them deeply. He will be forever watching over you and loving you. May the Lord help everyone in this difficult time.
