It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Nana, Great Nana, Sister, Aunt and Friend at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at the age of 81. Sandi is predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph, her parents, and her brothers. She leaves behind her 13 children, 20 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, her Brothers, Sister, extended family and a wide circle of cherished friends. Her free spirit and love of life was evident to all she met. Throughout her life, Sandi was involved in many organizations and activities including the Catholic Women's league, church choirs, Parent Councils, CORE Literacy as well as being a Life Coach and a Doula. Sandi was an active member of the Scarlett Sister Red Hat Club. She was a past Vice President of K-W Native Housing and a founding member of the National Aboriginal Housing Association. Sandi sold Avon for many years and was proud to be a member of the President's club. Sandi loved to write and tell stories, celebrate holidays especially Halloween, and gave her time and energy to others. Her joyful soul, laughter, knowledge of history, love of travel, dancing, long conversations, and hugs will sadly be missed. Sandi asks that you continue to laugh like a child, be kind to others and pray. May her gentle soul rest in peace. St. Mary, pray for her. At Sandi's request, she has been cremated.
