Sheilagh Ollie Speer

Passed away peacefully in Kitchener, with her husband William Speer by her side on Friday, July 22, 2022. She was born Shirley Webster in Windsor Nova Scotia and was predeceased by her parents Charles and Carolyn Rafuse from Nova Scotia and by her father-in-law Arthur Speer from Toronto. Her family included Richard and James Speer in Toronto, the Crawford family in Brantford and dear friends Ellie Winget and Tony Doering in Kitchener. Sheilagh had a genuine love for people and brought joy to all those who knew her. She had a love for music and regularly entertained on special occasions in the early 1980's. In later years she helped her husband Bill play sing-along music in retirement homes. She also painted and did ceramic crafts. She had a wonderful relationship with her father-in-law Arthur and took care of him in his later years at home. A private graveside service will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Toronto.
