EBY, Susan Anita It is with deepest regret that the family of Susan Eby (Doerr) announces her sudden and peaceful death, with family by her side, in Kitchener on Friday, July 6, 2018 at the age of 67. Susan was the cherished wife of John Eby of 42 years. Survived by her daughters Jennifer (John) Doyle and Kathryn (Jay) Merling. Loving grandmother to Seth and Cali Merling. Susan will be missed by siblings Pamela Putman, Michael (Wendy) Doerr, and Janet Doerr, along with sister-in-law Harmina Eby. Sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Paulene Doerr and brothers-in-law Richard Eby and Robert Putman. Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside celebration of Sue's life will take place at Memory Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. A special thank you to the intensive care unit and medical staff at Grand River Hospital for their care and support. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation to Grand River Cancer Centre or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
