I often sit and think about the years that have gone by
and of the happiness and joy that was shared by you and I.
No one knows how much I miss you
No one knows the bitter pain I have suffered since I lost you;

And seldom does a day pass by that I do not think of you.
The years that we had with you
are worth their weight in gold;
the joy and laughter that you gave are forever ours to hold.
Remembering you is easy; I do it every day,
but missing you is a heartache that never goes away.
