Thomas was a story teller.. loved listening to him talk about back home and when he came to Canada .. spent many a years with him In Myrtle beach .. in fact it was his timeshare rental
That got us started loving South Carolina with all the Ferris Clan..
We´ll miss him dearly.
To all the Ferries´s family, young and old ,You´re in our thoughts and prayers

I had the opportunity to meet Tom long after he retired from Gay Lea Foods - although I have been with GLF for over 20 years, Tom had retired before I left. He attended our retiree banquets, and he was someone I looked forward to seeing and listening to his stories about the "good old days" and his offering me advice on how to do things right. He was quick with a jab, always had a hearty laugh, he was such a joy to be around. I will miss Tom. To his extended family, thank you for sharing him with us; the pathway that we walked together was memorable and he will always be remembered.
When death's dark stream
I ferry o'er
a time that surely shall come;
In Heaven itself I'll ask no more
Than just the Highland welcome

Tom we love you, we miss you, we will meet again.
You were one of the kindest people I´ve ever met, and I was lucky to get to know you. I always enjoyed listening ti your stories. Specially when you talked about Mark. You were quiet a charmer.
I am grateful for the gift you gave me. Your last words to me were " I love you too "
Sending you many kisses and hugs. Olga

Simon and I have so many great memories of the wonderful times we spent with Tom. True enough, most of them did involve drink, food and more drink. But every one of those memories is filled with laughter and true friendship. We only knew Tom for a short 4 1/2 years but it feels like we have a lifetime of memories to cherish. Our thoughts are with Doreen, George, Annette and the rest of the family.

A fine man who told a good story, played a good dart game ,enjoyed a good scotch, wore a kilt with style and always had a smile. You will be missed.
