Thomas ROBB Obituary

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Thomas Robb. Tom was in his 92nd year and passed peacefully at home with his family by his side. Tom leaves behind his wife of 66 years Patricia (Leef) and his three children, Kim (Kel), Doug (Kelly) and Mark (Linda). Tom was the proud grandpa to six grandsons, Kraig (Melissa), Robbie (Trish), Tommy (Quinn), Jacob (Alex), Shane (Nicole), Dylan (Heather) and 9 great grandchildren. Tom's brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law were an important part of his life and include Norinne Marsh (Andy), Gary Leef (Henny), Ross Leef (Carol), Nancy Hooktwith (Rod) and Cyndy Genest (Ralph). Growing up Tom spent a great deal of time with his Auntie I and Uncle Tom and was lucky enough to gain a "sister" in Joyce Foster. Tom will also be missed by special family friend Jenny Stephens and many nieces and nephews. Tom was predeceased by his father Thomas Robb, his mother Rose Rooke (Turner), his sister-in-law Betty Robb and his brother and very best friend Bill Robb. Tom had a very special relationship with Bill and Betty's children, Karen, Kirk, and Kelly. Tom loved to talk to everyone and as a result had a large circle of friends who he met while fishing, hunting or out for a walk in the park. Very special thanks to the caregivers, especially Mary Anne, who made it possible for Tom to spend his last days at home. Tom had a love of the outdoors as big as his heart. His family was his world and he showed them everyday how important they were to him. His passing has left a hole in our hearts that we know will be filled with the many memories we have shared with "Sam". Visitation will be held at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge, on Thursday October 27th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and the Celebration of Life will be held at Wesley United Church, 6 Cambridge St, Cambridge, on Friday, October 28th at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tom's name to YWCA Cambridge (55 Dickson Street, Cambridge, ON N1R 7A5) or the Cambridge and District Humane Society (1650 Dunbar Road, Cambridge, ON N1R 8J5)
