Van Lyle Stahle Obituary

Van, owner of Can-Am Steel Products - Fabrication, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 2, 2021 at the Freeport Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 67. Dear brother of Glen (Brenda), Wayne, and Colleen Seibert (Armin). Van will be missed and remembered by his nieces and nephews Elizabeth, Benjamin, Elaine, Courtney and Adrian. Predeceased by father George Stahle (1992), mother Elizabeth Stahle (Wechzelberger) (2014) and his sister-in-law Laurie Stahle (Steadman) (2015). Van's family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, April 10, 2021 from 12:00 - 12:30 p.m. at the Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 2723 Victoria St N., Kitchener (Breslau) 519-904-0400. The funeral service will take place at 1 pm at the graveside. As expressions of sympathy donations to The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. First of all I would like to say that my thoughts are with all at this time. When we met, Van was one of the younger brothers, as Glenn was the reason for my visits to the house. Later on, Van and I had some great times together working for the City of Waterloo, where he still may hold the record for the longest part time employee, summers when roller skating was still popular, winters as a Rink Rat at Albert.

Van's smile and infectious laugh will always be remembered as joyfully as the hours and days of our youth spent together. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all, Glen, Wayne, Colleen and families. So sorry for your loss.
