Walter GOTTFRIED Obituary
GOTTFRIED, Walter Aaron ""Bill"" Passed away following a brief illness on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (1992). Sadly missed by dear friend Ellie Verleye. Loving father of Bev (Ron) Ahrens, Nancy (Glenn) Shantz and the late David Gottfried. Survived by daughter-in-law Barb Gottfried. Fondly remembered by his 8 grandchildren and their families. Dear brother of Irene Webb and the late Mildred, Norval, Harvey, Stewart, Alan, Mervyn, Emrie and Doug. Survived by sister-in-law Betty Gottfried. There will be a wake in memory of Bill from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 7 Major St., Kitchener. Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 519-749-8467. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
