Walter Kaczmarzyk Obituary
With heartfelt memory of Walter Kaczmarzyk
Born April 6, 1943, died November 29, 2019.
Walter Kaczmarzyk cultivated artistic excellence as an awarded accordion musician and pianist.
Spanning near to 80 years of intergenerational music from the classics to rock and roll from memory; the saddest of songs to the highest elation of melodies. He was in a teenage band called the Glow Tones.
He taught music to students from Owen Sound through the townships along Highway 6, his gift of music his foremost contribution.
Skeet shooting champion marksman of North America, a hunter of moose and a fisherman in the rivers of Ontario, he loved being outdoors under the sky.
He was an amazing pool player 'til his eleventh hour, placing his bets for which he always won, or always honoured.
His many inventions, unpatented, his billion dollar valuation within his genius, witnessed.
In the worst of times, down but never out, oppressed but never silent, targeted but never victimized, serious but always joking and despondent but always defiant. In the best of times, an undeniable passion for living and vivaciousness and outright denial of death itself. He was a passive activist for Constitutional and Charter Rights; his methods profound and dually noted.
His only enemy was their human failure in a systematic breach of trust and duty buried by their layers now beneath him.
Walter Kaczmarzyk; energetic, rebellious, imaginative, inventive, independent; genius.
Walter Kaczmarzyk; Canadian born, proud, handsome, intriguing, out-spoken; virtuoso.
Divinely intervened by Angels, in time for his Last Rights with nothing to confess, he left an indelible trace of his essence at King and Queen downtown.
Distinctly remembered by all who met him, sadly missed by family and friends, including his special Stephanie, favourite Nephew Phil, cherished daughter Tina, beloved son Jeffrey and devoted daughter Leesa.
