BOOTH, William (Bill) Thomas The music has stopped, Bill succumbed to a heart attack at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, two days before his 78th birthday. Born in Hamilton, he spent his first years in Commanda then returned to Hamilton where he grew up. He will be greatly missed by Renate Bracht, his wife and best friend of 34 years, his brother Peter and his family, his brothers-in-law Werner, Manfred, Volker and Michael (Maria) and families and special friend David Pedley. He was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Hazel Booth (nee Baker), brother-in-law and friend Helmut. He was active with Young Peoples and Sea Scouts. Worked at Jewill Bros. Bookstore and at Bay Kings Motors. He was a packaging consultant over 20 years, enjoyed a successful real estate career and retired after 13 years of service for a bakery. Bill was a real people person who made friends easily and for life. He enjoyed and was proud of his service as OPP Auxiliary Sergeant, Burlington detachment for 23 years. As a member of the KWSVC, he headed several successful fundraising events. He served as the chairperson of the Upper Canada Region/ Section of the RROC. He enjoyed the many meets and travelled from coast to coast. Bill enjoyed dancing, Renate being the perfect partner to dance the night away. He skied the Alps, in Quebec, Whistler and Colorado. Bill had a zest for life and was an active member of the Hamilton and Waterloo Tennis clubs. His cars meant a great deal to him. Inheriting a fondness from his father, he drove a succession of sports cars, owned '53 R type and '58 S 1 Bentleys and a '71 Silver Shadow Rolls-Royce and lavished his attention on them. If not with his cars he would enjoy the tranquility and flowers of the patio. Bill was kind and generous with his time and money. He was dedicated, caring and loyal, loved to talk, a social butterfly who always had a smile on his face. The music has stopped. A celebration of Bill's life will be held from 1 - 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at
