Zora Andric Obituary

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, surrounded by her family.

Zora is remembered by her loving husband, Mato Andric; her daughter, Donna (Dave) Wilton; her son, John (Melinda) Andric; her loving grandchildren, Shane, Tina (Brendo), Christian, and Ben; her sister Ljuba (Josip) Lorkovic and their family Mary, Mike, Sydney, Samantha, Frank, Madeline and Caroline; her sister-in-law, Kata Vinski and her family Kristina (Patrick) Chadi, Julia and Nicholas, Johnny (Kathy) Vinski, Nathan and Hayley, Josip (Marie-Michele) Vinski, William, Audrik and James of Montreal; her nephew, Paul (Darlene) Vinski and their family Miranda and Kyle of South Salem New York; and her family in Croatia. She is now reunited in Heaven with her parents, Ivan and Mara Vinski; and her brothers, Mirko and Josip Vinski.

Zora was born on August 27, 1943 in Croatia where she grew up in the small village of Straza with her brothers and sister. Family and friends were the most important part of Zora's life. She was the best wife, mother, baka, sister, aunt and friend. She loved to cook and kept a full vegetable garden that was used in making the best Croatian food for her family, friends, and neighbours. She also loved giving treats and sitting with her family's dogs, Rex, Milo, and Bolt.

After a brave battle with cancer and surviving her liver transplant 20+ years ago, Zora remained positive and never gave up. She made the world a better place and will be remembered for her smile, positivity and strength. She was an angel on earth and is now our angel in heaven.

Thank you to Father Miro Grubisic and Holy Family Croatian Roman Catholic Parish for their support.

Thank you to the nurses, doctors, and hospital staff at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital, and St. Mary's Hospital, for always taking such great care of her.
