Leroy FULLER Obituary

FULLER, Leroy Earl "Bus" Age: 90 Rest at: 3 pm October 5, 2019 Every once in a while, a family is lucky enough to have a patriarch who comes along that changes their families fortunes forever. From humble beginnings in Sunburst Montana, he never accepted the status quo, he used his ambition, drive, love of people, and the intimate understanding of the inherent truths in life to build strong customer philosophies that influenced the hospitality industry. Always entertaining, generous, a trusted friend, mentor, and family man, Buster, loved to fish, tell stories and refused to lose at crib. He loved his boys and had a special relationship with each of them. His family truly appreciates the hundreds of people who have sent their individual tributes to the man, who we were so lucky to call Dad/Grampa/Super-Grandpa. A celebration of life will be held at the Capilano Golf and Country Club for close friends of the Fuller family on Sunday, October 20, 2019 from 2 to 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Paul Sugar Palliative Support Foundation (www.paulsugarfoundation.com)

I owe my whole career to Buss and the family, and wouldn't be the person I am today without them. Of the myriad thing Buss taught me, two stand out. "People are everything" and "If you're not screwing up, you're not DOING anything." That last one was right after I had screwed up big time!

I owe my whole career to the Fuller family and would not be the person I am today without Buss.. Of all the many things I learned from Buss, it was people before anything, and when I told him I screwed up in my early years as a green kid, he said, "Chuck, if you're not screwing up you're not DOING anything!" He was a genius.

Dear Stan, Jeff, Stewart and Clay and your families,
May I add my condolence to the many you are receiving in the passing of your wonderful father. I have known Bus for many years and thought the world of him. He is one of the finest gentleman I have known, such a kind, fun and generous person. He shared with everyone how proud he was of his sons. You have been so blessed to have him with you all these many years.
I know your hearts are filled with wonderful memories of your very special father.
Sincerely,
Peggy Stafford
