Allan George Obituary
Peacefully passed away at the West Nipissing General Hospital on October 17, 2022, at the age of 95 years. Allan was the beloved husband of Verna George (nee Barinecutt) and the loving father to Paula Bowers, John George (Sandra), Mark George, June Olson (Brian). He was the cherished grandfather to David, Rebecca, Mathew, Stephanie, Robby, Alana, Laura, Aubry, John, and great-grandfather to Cullen, Cody, Caleb, Charly, Chase, Everly, Tyler, Kai, Michael, Charlotte, Lucy and Emily. As per Allan's wishes, cremation has taken place at Whispering Pine's Funeral Home Crematorium and a service will occur at a later date. Online condolences can be made at www.mcguintyfuneralhome.com

The George Family......thinking of you at this sad time. Woodrow and I were long time friends of Verna and Al having met at Pioneer Memorial in the 1950's. I have many fond memories of our times together in the Hamilton/Stoney Creek area and then in later years with Al by phone. May loving memories give you comfort and strength in your bereavement.
